Linking Your Blog To Facebook Through Networked Blogs

One of the great ways you can get viral traffic to your blog and also share your blog posts with as many people as possible is to link your blog to the facebook app, Networked Blogs. This app allows you to syndicate your blog to a number of social networks including facebook and you can also put a cool little widget in your blog side panel that will show pictures of your followers which are clickable – giving them the opportunity to get traffic from your blog. So it is a winner for your followers too.

To get connected with facebook networked blogs you just need to go here http://apps.facebook.com/blognetworks/ click Allow. Then you just need to follow 5 blogs – hopefully one blog your will follow is http://www.nuclearblogger.com!

Once you have done this you can register your own blog, fill in all the details you can to describe your blog and create your networked blogs profile. Be as positive about yourself and your blog as you can! http://apps.facebook.com/blognetworks/userpage.php

The most important element of all of this is to go to the SYNDICATION tab in your Networked Blogs and add your FACEBOOK targets – your FANPAGE or Pages or Personal Profile or both  and your Twitter Account. You can also syndicate your blog to groups.

To get your blog accepted you need a number of your FACEBOOK FRIENDS to confirm you as the author. Networked Blogs will show you how to do that invitation. Just invite all your friends to follow your blog…that way your blog will quickly get recognised.

You may also want your blog to have an interactive feel to it and you can do that by adding the Networked Blogs Widget to your side panel. Here are the instructions to do that:

To add the widget, visit NetworkedBlogs application via your Facebook account and click on profile tab. Once you are navigated to your NetworkedBlogs profile you will see blogs you write and blogs you follow. Click on the blog you want to add the widget (it can be only a blog you write). At the blog page click on the “widget” menu on the right side and follow the instructions for widget installation from there.

So there you have it…do this and your blog will be connected to your Facebook profile, fan pages and your twitter account and your content begins to go viral!

One of the great features about Networked Blogs is that they rank blogs in different niches of popularity – the top 50 followed blogs. So if you add the blog widget, ask your facebook friends and fans to follow you, you could soon be put on their rankings list. This will be represented all over the internet and people will likely visit your blog to see what the fuss is all about!

Let us know if you have connected to the social networks and Networked Blogs in this way.
